The Faun's Soundtrack

A long time ago, in the underground realm, where there are no lies or pain, there lived a Princess who dreamed of the human world. She dreamed of blue skies, soft breeze, and sunshine. One day, eluding her keepers, the Princess escaped. Once outside, the brightness blinded her and erased every trace of the past from her memory. She forgot who she was and where she came from. Her body suffered cold, sickness, and pain. Eventually, she died. However, her father, the King, always knew that the Princess' soul would return, perhaps in another body, in another place, at another time. And he would wait for her, until he drew his last breath, until the world stopped turning...

Faun

It is eerie, slightly haunting and one of the better soundtracks for a movie I've heard in a long time. I don't remember why I went to find El Laberinto del Fauno (Pan's Labyrinth), but when I found the site I discovered a treat that one rarely finds.

The ability to listen to the entire soundtrack of Pan's Labyrinth on line. Written by Spanish composer, Javier Navarrete, I don't know how long it will last but felt the link was definitely worth a post, if for no other reason to make it easier to find :)

It's not very often I listen to a sound track multiple times, usually due to a lack of being unable to find them. This one though seems to have a unique quality unlike many others - I think it is those songs that have the 'Lullaby' theme through them that seem to stick with me the most.
