Flickering Flame

My mind plays games while my body just desires to sleep - so this post will be a short one.

I don't know what it is but the flame of a candle, fire in general seems so peaceful (while control is maintained). The golden-orange flicker of light creating shadows on the wall behind me. For a brief moment this reality is left behind in the hypnotic aura of the orb that dances before me.

Maybe I'm just too tired to care, sleep's embrace beckons before me - and I'm too tire to fight that siren song any more tonight. Til later. . .
