If humans are close is it possible for them to do anything without interrupting others?
I admit I'm guilty of it too at times.
Is it a social flaw?
We can't tend to leave anything well enough alone until it's done we need to poke, touch, talk about, etc. until either the original objective is made moot and incomplete.
Polite society - if there is such a thing, forces us to drop what we are doing and acknowledge the person attempting to cause us terminal thought derailment.
Short of chasing everyone away, is there such a thing as an 'Interruption Free' existence?
*Oh this is one of the top reasons why I call the phone 'EVIL'
