Whoa - and here I thought the junk mail I had been getting about changing the spelling of english was a joke.
It's not quite Phonics, but if I just sit and stare at it for a bit my brain begins to blur and make the sound connections to figure out exactly what it is I'm reading. I can only imagine the fear this would cause my olde English teachers though, you know the ones that drilled spelling in class for a living :P
