Well the new Ubuntu came out, it's an impressive distro no doubt about it. Not a real big fan of Gnome interface, but the KDE interface wasn't too bad.
But there is one thing that seems to haunt all my Linux experiences - - installs.
I've been so ingrained with the double-click install method from Microsoft that it will take a while for me to really explore the how-to section in any other OS. Even with Wine's ability to run Microsoft geared software on the Linux partition anything out side the archive (Linux or Microsoft) is a real beast to figure out.
I'm still curious to see what Freespire will come up with in their new version - - if they can help me make it over the whole install thing, I may just jump ship for the experience :)
