Political Beggars

I guess this video someone sent to me sums up my strong belief in the ability of politicians to get anything done:


As for me - I'm thinking about voting tonight, if only to keep the government from taxing what little I have into an oblivion. Why do politicians and governments meddle so?

The whole thing has brought me back to the Wizard's First Rule, and gave me a chance to read them all again. . . people are stupid, one must always remember the second part though:

"The secret is there is no counter. You must always be vigilant, knowing that you, too, are vulnerable, and never arrogantly believe you are immune."

Some day I want to vote for someone because they are the best for the job, not because I dislike the other guy more. . .
