It's been about 3 years since any sort of major technology upgrade here on the home front. Last one was a new motherboard, but the price was just too good to pass up this season. I was considering just upgrading the monitor to one of the new LCD styles for a while now, and with the sale and all I bit the bullet.
The added bonus that tipped the scales for me was the computer that came with it. Kind of scary when the monitor comes with the computer instead of the computer coming with the monitor :P
It will be interesting to see how Dell's Vostro does - so far all I can really say is it's amazing between the new monitor and system how well World of Warcraft is playing.
